The tenancy is a long-term tenancy for an indefinite period. The tenancy continues until terminated by either party. The notice period for this tenancy is three months for both parties. The period runs from the first day of the month following receipt of the notice.

The tenancy has a lock-in period of 9 months from the date of handover, with 3 months' notice thereafter (minimum 12 months).

The property is on the market. This is valid grounds for termination after the lock-in period has ended.
The rental property has been used as the landlord's own home and is let during a temporary absence of up to 5 years, cf. section 11-4, which limits the tenant's rights under the Tenancy Act (husleieloven).
